Module: Introductory
Course description
The aim of the course is for participants to understand the principles and practices of project management. They learn how to plan, organise and control project activities. They become familiar with various methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum. The content includes the project life cycle, stakeholder management and the preparation of project documentation. Students learn to define project scope and to develop WBS structures. In addition, scheduling through Gantt charts and the basics of risk and budget management are covered. The course also develops teamwork skills and the use of digital project management tools.
Weekly class hours: 2 hours of lectures and 3 hours of practical exercises.
