Fundamentals of Software Testing

In this course participants acquire basic knowledge of software testing and its role in the development process. Analytical thinking is developed for identifying defects and assessing functionality. The content covers the fundamental principles of testing and the types and levels of testing. Participants learn techniques for designing test cases and test scenarios. In addition, they are introduced to testing and defect management tools. The course includes manual testing and analysis of results. Particular emphasis is placed on documenting and tracking the testing process.

Weekly class hours: 2 hours of lectures and 3 hours of practical exercises.
